Team Assistant for Professional Membership Organisation

A small, friendly professional membership organisation in the Holborn/Covent Garden area of central London is looking for a proactive Team Assistant to support its busy office. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a little office admin experience who wants to build strong skills in office support.
You will provide day‑to‑day administrative support across the organisation, and will report to and be trained by the Executive Secretary
Duties include
Handling telephone and managing the email inbox
Updating and maintaining membership and event databases
Preparing documents, flyers, certificates and other materials
Supporting the planning and delivery of educational events and an annual three day conference
Assisting with logistics such as speaker arrangements, travel bookings and venue coordination
Attending occasional UK‑based events to help with registration, AV setup and on‑site support, this will involve an overnight stay a couple of times a year.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience in office administration or as a Team Assistant
Is highly organised with strong attention to detail
Communicates clearly and professionally, both in writing and in person
Learns new systems quickly and is confident using Microsoft Office
Enjoys working in a small team and can manage multiple tasks at once
Brings a positive, professional and proactive approach.
