Our client, a leading UK charity, has a vacancy for a Senior Executive Assistant.

In this role you will have two main objectives. Firstly provide high quality executive assistant support to the Corporate Director in Strategy and Performance. The post-holder will effectively manage time and workload by executing administrative tasks. Proactively identifying, undertaking, and where appropriate, delegating administrative tasks; undertaking ad-hoc project work and providing support with researching and drafting reports and papers; as well as traditional administrative support tasks such diary management, responding to emails and preparing meeting papers.

Secondly, you will be required to line manage the other Executive Assistants within the Corporate Leadership Team (CLT) Admin Team. This team works flexibly to ensure adequate support is provided for all of the CLT during peaks in demand as well as providing cover for holidays and sickness.You will be responsible for ensuring that the admin resource is appropriately allocated so CLT receive consistent and effective administrative support. You will also oversee and delegate tasks to other members of the CLT administration team.

You must have:

  • considerable experience working at a senior PA level in a complex environment

  • effective /rigorous performance management of a diverse team

  • working flexibly, cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a team

  • the ability to lead, motivate and engage others

  • be able to prioritise and re-prioritise multiple tasks to achieve successful outcomes

  • act on behalf of, and with, those more senior than yourself to identify and resolve issues.

You will split your days between two locations, one in central London and the second in East London. Initially it is anticipated that the split will be 3 days in East and 2 days in central. This will need to be flexible to meet the needs of the Corporate Director and CLT Admin Team cover.
