A lovely private medical practice on Harley Street is looking for an upbeat and proactive medical secretary with reception and administrative duties.
As part of the administration team, much of your role as medical secretary will be to provide both administrative and medical secretarial support to include:
Booking in patient appointments
Chasing outstanding accounts and referrals
Arranging blood tests and chasing results
Copy and audio typing using voice recognition software
Liaising with private medical insurance companies
Dealing with all patient correspondence and producing patient notes
Coordination of daily work flow
Providing admin support to the operations director
Providing reception cover at set times each day
General office duties
To apply for this role, you must have the following:
Previous experience working as a medical secretary/PA within a medical environment
Audio typing experience with 70wpm
Proficiency with medical terminology
Preferably be AMSPAR qualified
