A leading independent nursery and pre-prep school in North West London are looking for graduates to enter a career in teaching.
If you are a bright, confident communicator with a university degree and a passion for working in early years education then read on.
This is a 3 year classroom based, training programme which will culminate in you holding the QTS qualification.
Initially you will be working as part of a team of 4 or 5 in the nursery classes teaching the young children. While working in this position you will receive in house training to enable you to gain the CACHE qualification and Early Years teaching qualification. The teaching in this area is approximately 75% arts/creative and might suit individuals with an interest or degree in art, drama or other creative areas.
You will then move onto working in the infant school, teaching 4-7 year olds. During this period, alongside teaching your class you will be working towards getting your full teaching qualifications.
On qualifying you can expect to earn a starting salary of approximately £30,000 per annum.
Alongside the competitive salary you will receive 8 weeks paid holiday a year and will work 8 hour shifts between 8am and 6pm.
